Not taking any chances.

I wonder this for everything but this page in particular, how is that tone treating you? Heckservant is supposed to be a serious story decorated with goofy moments. If it seems more like the other way around, then I wonder if pages like these are shocking, or not what you thought you were signing up for.

I though the shift in tone was done well. Having an emotional outburst at seeing something you didn’t expect can happen suddenly.

Poor Roswell isn’t able to handle how he looked at death. I think he should stick to his “cute” form to help his mental/emotional health.

They won't take him as seriously when he's cute but it's probably for the best.

This arc just keep raising more and more questions. Mine right now is, did the victim know his killer?

Before is a mystery, but he certainly knows the killer's name after the fact.

I always go into a story looking for a good time, so I don’t sign up for anything in particular when I read. As long as the story is good, and has a good flow. Sooooo... ʅ(◞‿◟)ʃ you’re doing great as far as I can see.

Thanks, I also wonder how the flow is doing so that answers that.

You’ve got that funky flow. (+10 points if you can guess the reference.)

we've entered The Danger Zone again! D: (i also just noticed zan's shirt, which is perfect)

it makes sense that roswell would freak out over how he looks, especially when almost everything scares him. several comments on the last page thought that he looked scary now too!

his mom got him that shirt

You'd think Roswell would know the risks of turning into his old self, but, here we are.

Tone seems good to me. Also, Helsirvente is apparently responsible for his death? Didn't realize that was how he worked, but chill.

If you think about it, Roswell is the one responsible for his own death. He's the one who stopped breathing.

I'm not sure about that. It seems to me that most deaths can be blamed on Oxygen. We should just fire the lot of them and hire someone else. That carbon-fibre has been prominent lately, and Carbon has been no slouch elsewhere. They seem to be a real rising-star. I think we should breath Carbon! instead, of those Oxygen murderers...

It would be much cheaper to evolve beyond breathing altogether.

I think the mix of serious/silly has been well balanced so far. It does feel as though we're on the precipice of the Helsirvente main plot, which I imagine is when the more serious aspects might trickle in? The only thing I'm basing this off is generalization with other comics though. =P You might have a compltely different plan but regardless I'm super-curious to see what it is and where this goes in the long run!

The sillyness is my main draw at the moment. I love your zany characters! =D But I also love when someone is able to starkly contrast humour with darkness.

PS. I like your comic. =) DS

Thanks! The characters are the most important part for me. And the Helsirvente business is the main plot of the comic that moves slower than the plots of each chapter, yep.
