whoever this person is...

This chapter is close to ending. I'm not sure yet if I will continue the Tues+Thur schedule into January, but if I do, the chapter should be done around the end of that month. For this week though, the next update is still on Thursday. Merry Christmas :)

Hm... so is Hound accidentally reading Ros's mind, or was Zan much more scared of Roswell's real form than he let on?

Zander is terrified by how handsome Roswell is. No one man should have that much power.

Merry Christmas!

And it’s all about presentation I suppose. How’re are you supposed to perform your ghastly spooky duties as a ghost if you flinch at every little piece of pain? :x

Ghosts also recover from damage much faster than the living, so they have less to lose from holding something painful.

I'm actually a bit surprised the crow bar damages ghosts. So it does have ghosthurting capabilities? Did I miss (or forget about) an Intro about anti ghost weapons in your comic?

The crowbar was introduced in the previous chapter as an iron ghost-basher. Sadie used it a couple times on ghosts (which were hallucinations, but still accurate). At the beginning of this chapter, Edith says that ghosts can't phase through iron.

When Edith first fought Mariel, contact with the crowbar has a burning effect. That page is confusing to read in retrospect, and it doesn't help that Mariel is a character who doesn't react to pain. It's been established that iron can touch/hurt ghosts. The extent of the damage it can inflict hasn't been explored as much.

I forgot about the iron aspect. Thanks for clarifying.

Ooo a trip up. Maybe They’ll like Sadie.

A simple question like that is exactly the kind of thing that'll trip up someone who's trying to be scary.
